Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
• Plan and lead comprehensive internal and external quality audits, managing the full lifecycle from scheduling to verification of corrective actions.
• Review and approve complex Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Material Submittals.
• Lead investigations into significant quality failures or recurring non-conformances (NCRs) and develop preventive strategies.
• Represent the Quality department in high-level meetings with clients, government authorities, and contractors.
• Supervise and mentor junior quality engineers and inspectors to foster technical excellence.
• Analyze quality metrics and KPIs to provide actionable insights regarding quality trends and contractor performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior or lead capacity on major construction projects.
• Extensive expertise in international codes including ASTM, ACI, and AWS, as well as the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Must be a Saudi National.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native fluency in Arabic and professional mastery of English (technical writing and presentation).
• Strong ability to manage contractor relationships and influence project outcomes.
• Proficiency in quality management software and BIM integration for quality tracking.
• Advanced data analysis skills and a strategic mindset for balancing quality with project schedules.
