About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide QA support to manufacturing operations, including coordination of material review board (MRB) activity and monitoring of inspection and test processes.
- Utilize DMAIC and Six Sigma methodologies to identify, analyze, and resolve product and process problems.
- Support military and aerospace customers through failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for returned materials.
- Manage customer audits, source inspections, and participate in quality audits and factory tours.
- Interface with the supply chain team to drive corrective actions for supplier material issues.
- Lead audit teams to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and MIL-STD certifications.
- Facilitate continual improvement through the training and communication of quality initiatives.
- Assist management with the design, development, and maintenance of the quality management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in electronics inspection and/or assembly.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be a US citizen, Permanent resident, or a protected individual as defined by US export control laws.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with frequency control products and related military performance specifications.
- Experience with crystal oscillators, PCB assembly, surface mount technology, and electronic assembly test methodologies.
- Proven experience working with stringent military and aerospace quality requirements.
- Knowledge of reliability and risk management, including modeling and assessment tools.
- Experience using statistical analysis software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
