Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and code test solutions around the Cloud Platform environment using test-as-infrastructure principles
• Lead Quality and Automation initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams
• Participate in Agile software development initiatives including standups and planning
• Work closely with operations and sustaining teams to ensure platform availability
• Build sustainable engineering practices through code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentorship
• Design, code, and automate application testing using Selenium, Playwright, and REST API
• Build frameworks for SaaS, Mobile, Desktop, and Web applications

Requirements

• 5+ years in a software engineering role
• Experience with Web UI Automation using Selenium or Playwright
• Experience in front-end testing for Web, Desktop, and Mobile devices
• Proven experience building test solutions for enterprise SaaS applications
• Solid knowledge of OOP, multithreading, and languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Knowledge of effective CI/CD practices
• Hands-on experience managing and coding test infrastructure in Java
• CS/EE degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AI tools like Copilot or Claude
• Experience building CI/CD automation pipelines
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of Terraform and its custom providers
• Experience with Java IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ
