Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define part inspection processes from receiving through final inspection
• Develop inspection report formats, traceability frameworks, and nonconformance workflows
• Establish standards for inspection program documentation and handoff
• Identify inspection capability gaps and specify necessary equipment
• Manage verification processes for parts undergoing outside processing
• Architect processes to ensure AS9100 compliance

Requirements

• Experience as a quality engineer in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing
• Proven track record of building quality processes from scratch
• Strong GD&T fundamentals and ability to develop inspection plans from drawings
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality management frameworks
• Experience in specifying and procuring inspection equipment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with machinists, programmers, and engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• CMM programming experience
