Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide process and quality engineering support to manufacturing and product development teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Reduce and control manufacturing process defects, such as scrap and nonconforming material, by leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventative actions.
• Develop and implement product quality plans, specifications, risk analyses, and FMEAs.
• Establish process monitoring systems to identify critical steps and reduce manufacturing process variation.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing defect data and quality metrics to drive product and process improvement efforts.
• Create quality tools and training materials to communicate expertise to respective teams.
• Provide guidance, work direction, and mentorship to less experienced staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5 years of related work experience.
• Proven application of technical principles, practices, and procedures.
• Experience working within a quality system environment.
• Strong data analysis and evaluation skills to solve problems of diverse scope.
• Ability to exercise judgment in selecting technical methods and techniques for problem resolution.
