About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the project quality control program and daily quality procedures
- Coordinate document review and implementation during construction and commissioning
- Execute inspections with trade partners to oversee checklist accuracy
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to identify errors or redundancies
- Manage equipment tracking tools, inspection statuses, and project workflows
- Conduct quality meetings, review deficiency logs, and manage punch lists
- Coordinate inspection paperwork and manage testing reports with trade partners
- Prepare weekly meeting agendas and lead weekly quality walks
- Monitor construction activities and material deliveries for adherence to specifications
- Coach and mentor junior employees
Requirements
- 5-7 years of office or field construction experience on similar projects
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, BIM360, Field, and SmartSheet
Preferred Qualifications
- ICC certifications (reinforcing, concrete, masonry, structural steel, soils, etc.)
- ACI (American Concrete Institute) certification
- ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) certification
- AWS (American Welding Society) certification
- NICET certification
