Senior Quality Control Professional

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure timely testing of raw materials, in-process, finished, and stability samples.
• Review and approve analytical data, calculations, and laboratory documentation in adherence to pharmacopeial methods.
• Supervise method validation, verification, and transfer activities, ensuring proper qualification of analytical instruments.
• Lead investigations of OOS, OOT, and laboratory deviations, performing root cause analysis and implementing CAPAs.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP, GLP, and data integrity (ALCOA+) standards to maintain inspection readiness.
• Oversee stability program activities, including execution, trending, and shelf-life determination.
• Supervise, coach, and develop QC laboratory staff to ensure high performance and training compliance.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, and Regulatory Affairs to support audits and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• 6–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratories.
• 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, Dissolution, and UV analytical techniques.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, GLP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
