Senior Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory controls and verifications in regulated environments, specifically for controlled substances and precursors
• Conduct investigations into inventory discrepancies, including picking errors, losses, or systemic anomalies
• Process returns of controlled substances, ensuring compliance validation and proper documentation
• Perform monthly inventories of controlled substance morgues to ensure traceability and Health Canada compliance
• Verify adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements on the warehouse floor
• Conduct internal floor inspections related to quality, compliance, and security during the evening shift
• Act as a floor-level point of contact for internal and external audit preparation and corrective action follow-up
• Provide floor-level coaching to operational teams to address non-compliant practices and reinforce SOPs

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a distribution centre or warehouse environment
• Demonstrated experience in inventory control, quality, or operational compliance
• Experience working with an ERP system
• Proficiency with basic computer tools, including Excel
• Ability to work evening shifts (Sunday to Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.)
• Ability to work regularly on the warehouse floor, including standing and moving in secure areas

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
• Experience handling controlled or regulated products
• Exposure to regulatory audits or internal inspections
• Experience with operational investigations
• Experience working in a unionized environment
