Senior Quality Assurance & Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with design, manufacturing, and test teams to create reliable hardware verification for flight components and systems
• Develop and manage the quality management system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Investigate anomalies in manufacturing, supply chain, testing, and flight to identify root causes
• Support product development and manufacturing using continuous improvement and statistical techniques
• Develop, implement, and validate test and inspection methodologies
• Derive, automate, and report quality metrics to provide recommendations for design and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Software Engineering, or similar
• 7+ years of professional experience in design engineering, manufacturing, test, software, or quality and reliability engineering
• 2+ years of professional experience with investigations, design of experiments, and problem-solving methods
• Experience with quality, risk, and/or safety management systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with FAA regulatory requirements (e.g., 14 CFR 21, DO-160, DO-254)
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python, C, or SQL for data analysis and automation
• Experience evaluating and executing test campaigns and procedures
• Experience developing engineering infrastructure and tools for QMS
