Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage compliance of manufacturing and production processes with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision of production equipment and finished products.
• Manage Root Cause Analysis (RCA) requests from customers and suppliers.
• Examine and determine appropriate actions for non-conforming materials.
• Conduct regular product and process audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and internal requirements.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends and recommend improvements to quality systems.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for manufacturing process improvement.
• Develop and implement quality procedures and training materials for various departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience, OR
• Master's degree with no professional experience, OR
• At least 3 years of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis.
• Proficiency in Office 365, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools and quality management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or large truck manufacturing.
• Experience supporting or leading a company through ISO9001 certification.
• Familiarity with new model launches and the quality role within that process.
• Understanding of production line controls, including incoming stock and shipping areas.
• Ability to multi-task and manage projects from inception to completion.
