Senior Quality Analyst

Responsibilities

• Advocate for "shifting quality to the left" by identifying and mitigating risks as early as possible in the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates, including Developers, Business Analysts, and Designers, to embed quality at every stage of product evolution
• Conduct regular exploratory testing to uncover potential risks and gain deep product insights
• Contribute to the creation of reliable, maintainable, and effective automated testing suites
• Offer continuous improvements to code, testability, and testing frameworks
• Design and implement comprehensive quality strategies and examine end-to-end processes across the entire tech stack
• Coach client teams to adopt a quality-first mindset and mentor junior-level Quality Analysts

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Quality Analyst within an agile development team
• Strong knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release management
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and maintaining test suites
• Ability to perform diverse testing types, including functional, cross-functional, performance, and security testing
• Experience with code management and understanding of modern software architectures (on-premise and cloud)
• Ability to leverage metrics to improve deployment frequency and lead time

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user research, including prototyping and A/B testing
• Experience designing quality strategies for complex, multi-layered architectures
• Ability to influence teammates and advocate for quality as a shared responsibility
