About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement priority continuous improvement projects for the QC department
- Reduce analytical complexity and eliminate non-value-added activities to optimize analysis times
- Identify root causes of losses and propose corrective actions to optimize operations
- Standardize and harmonize best practices across different laboratories
- Recommend the adoption of new technologies, methods, or tools to improve laboratory performance
- Monitor the performance of implemented improvements and intervene when deviations occur
- Act as a coach and resource for QC personnel regarding continuous improvement initiatives
- Support change management and ensure fluid communication between stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or related discipline)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or another regulated manufacturing industry
- Experience in a laboratory environment, including understanding analytical methods and QC processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, high-pressure context
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Fluency in French is required for effective communication and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Operational Excellence (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) with concrete achievements
- Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt)
- Experience in a regulated environment, ideally within a pharmaceutical or QC laboratory setting
- Proven ability to lead, coach, or mentor teams through continuous improvement initiatives
