About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex features, including web service and API-level testing
- Identify gaps in test coverage and collaborate with engineers and product owners
- Debug complex, multi-layered issues spanning application, database, and integration layers
- Provide feedback on product performance and user experience
- Serve as a quality mentor for engineers on the squad and across the organization
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate test planning, documentation, and root cause analysis
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience, ideally in fintech
- Strong web service and REST API testing experience
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Microsoft SQL Server or similar database experience for data manipulation
- Proficiency with Jira, Zephyr, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker
- BS degree in Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI tools like Claude Code for QA practices
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Integration testing experience (inbound/outbound file processing)
- Knowledge of financial data sources like Bloomberg, Reuters, or Morningstar
- Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
- Working knowledge of Python
- Experience with performance testing using Locust.io
