Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for Java/Spring Boot applications and microservices
• Execute QA activities for Databricks and Apache Spark data pipelines, including data quality validation and reconciliation
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts for application and data platforms
• Support performance, load, and stress testing to ensure scalability
• Validate AI/ML-enabled use cases, including training and inference data quality
• Collaborate within Agile/DevOps teams to support sprint execution and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Testing roles
• Strong understanding of Java-based applications and backend testing
• Hands-on exposure to Databricks and Apache Spark data platforms
• Proficiency in data validation and SQL
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud-based systems
• Understanding of performance testing concepts and software design patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in banking or regulated enterprise environments
• Exposure to AI/ML testing or data-driven platforms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong banking domain knowledge
