Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build automated test suites from scratch covering web, backend APIs, and critical trading flows
• Define and own the release testing process in collaboration with TPMs
• Identify critical product areas for testing, including trading flows and market settlement
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD deployment pipeline
• Track issues using Linear and maintain visibility into quality metrics
• Hire and mentor a small team of QA engineers as the function scales

Requirements

• 3+ years in QA engineering or SDET roles, preferably at fast-scaling startups
• Proven experience building automated test infrastructure from scratch
• Proficiency with modern frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
• Experience with trading or fintech products where financial accuracy is critical
• Familiarity with Crypto/DeFi and blockchain mechanics
• Full-stack testing experience across web applications and backend APIs
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python
• Experience with CI/CD integration tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at prediction markets, sports betting platforms, or trading exchanges
• Experience leading or mentoring a small QA team
• Background in performance and load testing
• Mobile iOS testing experience
• Security testing exposure
