About the role
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium
- Perform REST API automation using Rest Assured
- Write high-quality test cases and scenarios for both manual and automated testing
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and "go-to" person for the team regarding the application under test
- Monitor and report on KPIs for manual and automation testing processes
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and Team Leads
- Work within an Agile project development environment to ensure software quality
Requirements
- 4-8 years of professional experience in Automation Testing
- Proven expertise in Java and Selenium
- Hands-on experience with BDD and Serenity BDD automation
- Strong experience in REST API automation using Rest Assured
- Deep understanding of the Defect Lifecycle and manual testing best practices
- Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing SQL queries on Oracle or Postgres databases
- Knowledge of Automobile Leasing applications
- Experience with test management tools such as Azure VSTS, Zephyr Scale, or X-Ray
- Familiarity with codeless automation solutions like Subject-7 or Tosca
