Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing
• Utilize AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate test case creation and automation scripting
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks
• Analyze test results and provide actionable reports on quality metrics and risks
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Proven experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to support testing activities
• Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications
• Experience testing workflow-based or enterprise systems
