Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test cases, test plans, and a test strategy for the Secure BMC System product
• Execute and automate test cases, analyze test results, and report issues
• Identify and define system test requirements
• Design test architecture and develop detailed test cases
• Configure and troubleshoot infrastructure devices
• Validate BMC software solutions including sensor monitor, event log, Redfish, Web UI, and IPMI
• Automate new test cases using Python with Pytest or Robot Framework

Requirements

• 6–10 years of software testing experience
• 5+ years in BMC Validation and Embedded system validation for Linux or RTOS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Mandatory BMC product/stack software validation experience
• Strong hardware debugging skills
• Solid knowledge of low-level protocols: I2C, PMBUS, SPI, UART, JTAG, GPIO
• Deep understanding of BMC IPMI2.0 (Messaging, SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, LAN, KCS, etc.)
• Familiarity with MCTP and PLDM protocols
• Experience validating Server Management stack, Web UI, Redfish, Rest API, and Open BMC
• Proficiency in Python, Pytest, or Robot Framework for automation
• Experience with Git/SVN and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Networking, PCIe, Firmware, and SOC
• Experience with troubleshooting integration issues and root-cause analysis
