Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for web, mobile (Android/iOS), and API layers
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to detect regressions and edge-case failures
• Automate complex scenarios involving claims processing, payment gateways, and financial transactions
• Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness
• Log, track, and report defects to ensure timely resolution

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in QA automation across web, API, and backend systems
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Experience with API testing tools like Rest Assured, Postman, or SoapUI
• Mobile automation experience using Appium (Android and iOS)
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of TestNG or similar automation frameworks
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with fintech systems such as payment flows, digital wallets, or UPI integrations
• Performance testing knowledge using JMeter
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker or Kubernetes
