Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, develop testing strategies, and design comprehensive test cases
• Document defects, reproduce issues, and verify modifications
• Support the product throughout the entire release cycle
• Deploy, update, and maintain test environments
• Collaborate within an Agile team to improve development and testing processes
• Write automated tests for media services, including API testing and audio/video quality integration
• Participate in the development and support of the test framework
• Create and run automated tests, analyze results across different environments, and engage in CI development

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend testing
• 2+ years of experience in automating test scenarios using any programming language
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and requirements competence
• Basic knowledge of TCP, UDP, and HTTP
• Proficiency with Linux environments
• English language proficiency at an Upper Intermediate level or above

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in VoIP (SIP, SDP) and WebRTC (SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP)
• Experience with network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump
• Experience testing multimedia systems
• Experience automating testing with JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS
• Experience integrating AI-agentic workflows into the SDLC for test generation or log analysis
