Senior QA Automation Engineer - Mobile

Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile quality engineering strategy for iOS and Android applications
• Design, build, and maintain scalable mobile automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Maestro, Detox, XCUITest, and Espresso
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing
• Mentor and guide QA engineers, driving automation best practices
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and QA teams
• Analyze regression test results, identify defects, and partner with teams to drive resolution
• Track and communicate quality metrics and release readiness
• Implement new testing tools, AI-driven testing capabilities, and process improvements
• Champion shift-left testing practices and strengthen quality gates within CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Strong expertise in mobile test automation
• Hands-on experience designing scalable automation frameworks (Appium, Maestro, Detox, XCUITest, or Espresso)
• Strong understanding of mobile application testing across iOS and Android
• Proven experience developing automation strategies for complex mobile applications
• Strong leadership experience mentoring QA engineers
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-powered testing solutions, including automated test generation and self-healing tests
• Experience implementing quality dashboards, automation metrics, and CI/CD quality gates
