Senior QA Analyst

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods in a food manufacturing environment
• Conduct essential testing including salt, acid, viscosity, pH, and sensory analysis
• Manage the COA Management Program using SAP and Trace Gains
• Own the Raw Material Management program, ensuring proper testing and protocols are maintained
• Perform facility food safety audits (GMP, glass and brittle plastic, knife, etc.)
• Train new Quality Assurance Analyst 1 and 2 team members
• Conduct lab equipment calibrations and maintain a clean, orderly laboratory
• Monitor warehouse temperatures and report non-conformances
• Manage the label management program for bottles and drums to ensure accuracy during shift operations
• Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce waste and improve productivity

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst 2
• Proficient knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and FDA/USDA regulations
• Proficiency in laboratory testing and equipment operation
• Strong computer skills with experience in SAP, Trace Gains, or Pathway
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hour shifts in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
• Understanding of ingredient functionality and food microbiology testing methods
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (FSQS) and audit standards
