Senior Python Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient microservices architectures using Python
• Build and serve high-performance RESTful APIs utilizing asynchronous web frameworks like FastAPI and Flask
• Optimize concurrent connections and I/O operations using asyncio
• Design and optimize robust ETL processes to clean and enrich large datasets
• Architect and maintain database schemas across Relational and NoSQL solutions
• Implement optimized data access layers using ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM
• Enforce security best practices using OAuth, JWT, and API Gateways
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• Expert Python development skills
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, and asyncio
• Strong database manipulation using SQLAlchemy or Django ORM
• High proficiency in writing complex SQL and database tuning
• Solid experience securing microservices via JWT and OAuth
• Strong Shell scripting and Git workflow mastery
• Proven track record delivering production-grade microservices and data pipelines
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Practical exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Awareness of data governance and enterprise data security principles
