Senior Python Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient microservices architectures using Python.
• Build high-performance RESTful APIs utilizing asynchronous web frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
• Optimize concurrent connections and I/O operations using advanced asynchronous programming patterns like asyncio.
• Design and optimize robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to clean and enrich large datasets.
• Architect and maintain database schemas across both Relational and NoSQL data storage solutions.
• Implement optimized data access layers using ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Enforce security best practices including authentication and authorization using OAuth and JWT.
• Own the productionization of frameworks by developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Python development and asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong database skills including complex SQL and experience with SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Proven experience securing microservices via JWT and OAuth.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Git version control workflows.
• Demonstrated background in configuring CI/CD automation and productionizing code.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Practical exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data governance and enterprise data security principles.
