Senior Python Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build REST APIs, data models, migrations, and background tasks using Django & PostgreSQL
• Design data pipelines processing inspection data from drone and crawler operations
• Create context documentation to make AI agents effective in the codebase
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries and ensure backend services scale
• Review and validate agent-generated code to ensure production readiness
• Help the team adopt AI-native development through shared tooling

Requirements

• 5+ years Python development experience
• Significant Django & PostgreSQL production experience
• Deep expertise in Django ORM, REST framework, migrations, and Celery
• Daily use of AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex
• Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, and architecture patterns
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• GCP infrastructure experience
• Experience with AI product features such as LLM APIs, embeddings, or RAG
• Background in wind energy, robotics, or industrial IoT
