Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performing applications
• Integration of user-facing elements
• Implementation of security and data protection

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of IT experience including 4 years of Python experience
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Knowledge of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python with Flask and Fast APIs
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
• Understanding of platform optimization for mobile vs desktop

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in software engineering or computer science
• Understanding of front-end technologies for integration purposes
