About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Python and Django
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features efficiently
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices
- Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and security issues
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Python and Django frameworks
- Strong knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL and ORM concepts
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
- Experience with REST APIs, deployment, and basic cloud concepts
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Celery or asynchronous task queues
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows
