Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, and implement technical solutions for medium to high complexity applications
• Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements, architecture, and priorities
• Propose technical improvements and escalate risks or issues related to development
• Conduct code reviews for development team members
• Share knowledge and experience gained from projects with internal and external tech communities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development using Python
• Proven experience working in Capital Markets or the broader Financial Services industry
• Strong understanding of programming paradigms including OOP and Functional programming
• Familiarity with design/architectural patterns and clean code principles (e.g., SOLID)
• Experience with frameworks such as Django REST, Flask, or FastAPI
• Practical experience with SQL and database systems
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with testing and mocking frameworks
• Knowledge of Pytest, NumPy, pandas, or TensorFlow
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or KANBAN
• Understanding of communication protocols like HTTP, REST, JSON, and TCP/IP
