Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, and implement technical solutions for medium to high complexity applications
• Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, architecture, and priorities
• Propose technical improvements and escalate development risks or issues
• Conduct code reviews for other development team members
• Share knowledge and experience gained from projects with the wider team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development using Python
• Proven experience working in Capital Markets or the Financial Services industry
• Strong understanding of design/architectural patterns and clean code principles (SOLID, GoF)
• Proficiency with frameworks such as Django REST, Flask, or FastAPI
• Practical experience with SQL and platform-specific database systems
• Solid experience with testing and mocking frameworks
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pytest, NumPy, pandas, or TensorFlow
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as HTTP, REST, JSON, and TCP/IP
