Senior Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement supplier strategies to optimize the local supplier base for global and regional needs
• Lead sourcing and price negotiations for internal/external products and project purchasing activities
• Negotiate and coordinate frame contracts to secure the supply of products and services
• Manage supplier performance through yearly assessments, evaluations, and continuous improvement measures
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships within the supplier and ZF Services network
• Support Best Cost Sourcing activities in the AP region and participate in regional/global projects
• Perform continuous analysis of purchase reporting and maintain accurate purchasing records

Requirements

• More than 5 years of work experience in purchasing and project management within the automotive manufacturing market
• Associates degree or higher, with a major in engineering, automation, or a scientific curriculum
• Fluency in both written and oral English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in operating ERP or related Purchasing Systems
• Solid experience in sourcing and contract/price negotiations
• Strong knowledge of purchase processes and project management
