About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological services to adults with an Intellectual Disability across North Kildare and West Dublin
- Work within multi-disciplinary teams to support service-users, families, and frontline staff
- Implement person-centred and compassion-focused care systems
- Engage in research, service evaluation, and continuing professional development
Requirements
- University degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) with Psychology as a major subject and honours
- Post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent validated by the Department of Health)
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in professional psychology
- At least 2 years of full-time post-qualification experience as a professional
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Full clean driver's license and access to own vehicle
