Senior Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Lead on clinical assessments and therapeutic formulations for children and young people
• Develop and evaluate evidence-based intervention programmes
• Provide line management and supervision to regional psychologists
• Collaborate with education and care teams to embed therapeutic practices
• Deliver training, consultation, and reflective practice sessions
• Work closely with families, external agencies, and internal MDTs
• Promote safeguarding and contribute to child protection procedures
• Maintain accurate clinical records

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
• Experience in psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention
• Understanding of developmental trauma, neurodiversity, and SEN
• Ability to work collaboratively in MDTs and across settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervision qualification and experience managing staff
• Experience in education systems and challenging environments
• Full UK driving licence
