Responsibilities
- Architect test stand design and documentation including engineering drawings, P&ID, electrical schematics, and test procedures
- Maintain test facility operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Implement robust data and video recording infrastructure
- Analyze data for equipment activation, calibration, and operation
- Diagnose stand problems efficiently and perform corrective actions
- Continually improve facility capabilities to increase test throughput and reliability
- Perform harness assembly including crimping, soldering, and cable lacing
- Operate manual machine shop equipment such as drills, mills, and lathes
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on experience with fluidic and mechanical systems and test operations
- Experience working in hazardous environments involving flammables, high voltage, or pressurized systems
- Knowledge of fluid systems hardware and instrumentation (pressure, temperature, load cells, relays, solenoids, pneumatics)
- Familiarity with data acquisition, control systems, PLC hardware, and computer networking
- Proficiency with PLC and data processing software such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW
