Senior Proposals Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of strategic proposals, statements of qualifications, and interview presentations for major federal and DOD contracts.
• Assist the Director of Business Development with workload planning, resource prioritization, and capture pursuit management.
• Define proposal structures and organization based on RFP/RFQ instructions to develop responsive writing outlines and templates.
• Write and edit complex content, including project descriptions, personnel qualifications, and management planning measures.
• Coordinate proposal schedules and communicate requirements to technical experts and subcontractors.
• Manage data entry and reporting within Deltek Capture Management.
• Collaborate with capture leads and pursuit managers to ensure consistent messaging across accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of professional proposal writing experience.
• Proven experience responding to DOD/federal government RFQ/RFPs.
• Expertise in the architecture, engineering, or environmental consulting industries.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong design sensibility.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
• Experience with Deltek Capture Management.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring team members in a professional setting.
