Senior Proposal and Contracts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including analyzing documentation, assigning Subject Matter Experts, and coordinating strategic and operational areas.
• Prepare and modify strategic proposals and budgets to ensure alignment with client specifications and internal assumptions.
• Create, negotiate, and finalize client contracts in accordance with departmental SOPs and guidance.
• Develop contract strategies and plans to ensure timely delivery and client signature.
• Lead and facilitate client meetings to negotiate costs and terms.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or barriers within the RFP process.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation in internal systems for metrics and KPI purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in project support, finance, contracting, or proposals.
• Previous experience working within a CRO or a similar professional services environment.
• Solid knowledge of proposal and contract management principles, including pricing structures and contractual terms.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Salesforce or similar data systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Previous direct experience in proposal development.
• Experience working within multinational and multicultural companies.
