Responsibilities
- Oversee the department to ensure professional service for landlords and tenants
- Manage staff interviews, inductions, training, appraisals, and coaching
- Manage tenancies from commencement to property return, adhering to landlord instructions
- Coordinate management and safety inspections, including gas safety checks
- Organize remedial works, obtain estimates, issue work orders, and pay invoices
- Handle correspondence, telephone calls, and personal visits from landlords and tenants
- Manage end-of-tenancy reports and security deposit releases via the Depositary
- Respond to complaints, legal notices, and emergencies regarding property security or essential services
- Negotiate tenancy extensions and renewals
- Ensure appropriate charges are made for all services rendered
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Property Manager or Senior Property Manager
- Full UK Driving License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
