Senior Property Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of large and complex property losses exceeding $100,000 from initial assignment through resolution
• Request appraisals, estimates, cause & origin reports, and other investigative documentation
• Investigate claim origins by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, and experts
• Scope, evaluate, and negotiate high-severity property damage including total losses and structural damage
• Evaluate coverage, identify subrogation potential, and partner with counsel as needed
• Set and maintain accurate reserves on high-exposure files

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience adjusting P&C insurance claims
• Proven track record handling large, complex property losses over $100,000
• Valid adjuster license
• Ability to manage high-stakes caseloads under intense pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in homeowners, condo, and landlord insurance
• Prior leadership experience
• AIC or ARM designations
• Prior project management experience
