Senior Property Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain corporate books and accounting procedures
• Oversee and mentor two accounting assistants
• Bridge the gap between operations and accounting departments
• Develop and implement corporate policies, including petty cash and reimbursement
• Oversee collection of management fees and payment of corporate bills
• Prepare and review property financials and assist with budgeting
• Coordinate accounting onboarding/offboarding and client distributions
• Analyze property POs and invoicing to enhance efficiency
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting issues

Requirements

• 3-5 years of property accounting experience
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced knowledge of accounting mathematical formulas
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
