Senior Project Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of land surveying projects, focusing on high-profile and complex assignments
• Supervise and coordinate activities of field and office staff
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to develop project plans
• Mentor junior survey staff and provide technical expertise
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources
• Perform advanced boundary resolution and oversee boundary construction
• Review and sign off on all survey deliverables, including drawings and legal descriptions
• Identify and address potential project risks

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Surveyor (LPS) in Kansas and Missouri
• 10+ years of experience as a Licensed Professional Surveyor
• Extensive experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking
• Experience with Leica and/or Trimble equipment
• Experience navigating the Planning Commission process
• Knowledge of Project Insurance issues
• Proven expertise in resolving complex boundary issues
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
