Senior Project Manager/VP Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and ensure overall profitability
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion
• Serve as project manager, senior project engineer, and primary client contact
• Supervise and monitor client relationship strategies
• Coordinate pricing, estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies
• Develop engineering agreements and forecast staff workload
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and topographical data for project design
• Direct and supervise the activities of other engineers
• Handle contract administration and monitor work-in-process
• Prepare or direct the preparation of reports, specifications, and environmental impact studies
• Instruct draftspersons and technicians on design reduction
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida
• Valid driver’s license
