Senior Project Manager, Water/Wastewater Treatment

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians, providing mentoring and coaching to develop future leaders.
• Lead the planning and engineering design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Perform complex engineering design tasks, including mass and energy balance calculations and equipment sizing.
• Develop engineering drawings such as BFDs, PFDs, and P&IDs, as well as feasibility studies and engineering reports.
• Drive business development by participating in proposal development, managing client relationships, and creating scopes of work.
• Oversee project management plans, ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate quality assurance/quality control and facilitate independent technical reviews.
• Manage the permitting process and coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience in project management, preferably within the water/wastewater sector.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Proven experience performing mass and energy balance calculations and process equipment sizing.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in defining team direction, strategy development, and change management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams including structural, electrical, and instrumentation & controls.
