Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide senior project management within the Project Leadership Team to ensure integrated project delivery
• Coordinate on-site operations using direct labour and subcontracted workforce
• Lead the safe delivery of major gas infrastructure projects in compliance with CDM Regulations and gas industry standards
• Manage project KPIs, including safety, time, cost, and quality
• Own programme delivery, managing interfaces, critical path activities, and commissioning constraints
• Act as the primary site-level interface with clients, stakeholders, and statutory parties
• Oversee subcontractor and supply-chain performance and compliance
• Support commercial performance through forecasting, change management, and risk allowances

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale EPC projects
• Experience in UK high-pressure gas infrastructure, heavy engineering, or process-led projects
• Commercial contract awareness, specifically with NEC or similar forms of contract
• Proven competence in managing site health and safety (SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and SharePoint
• Full UK driving license
• Fluency in English
• Ability to be based at the Wormington Compressor Station site during the week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with National Grid or industrial process asset operators (e.g., BP, Exxon Mobil, INEOS)
• Experience working with Tier-1 engineering and construction contractors in the UK
