About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead Project Management Commissions and take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery for large or complex projects
- Act as the primary day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives, time, cost, and quality standards are met
- Provide strategic advice at the project inception stage
- Establish project governance, processes, systems, and master project plans
- Manage resource planning, procurement, and cross-functional project teams
- Monitor performance using KPIs and manage the change control process
- Develop and manage budgets, controlling forecast and actual costs
- Identify and mitigate project risks and manage stakeholder communications
- Advise clients on Health & Safety and Environmental issues
Requirements
- Degree qualified, ideally in Civil Engineering
- Experience working on large-scale scheme projects (£100m+)
- Ability to manage projects typically ranging from £10m to £25m
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered or qualified status with ICE, APM, or RICS
