Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets
• Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants
• Analyse, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip
• Review construction proposals, related pricing, and scopes
• Review, correct, and assess work-in-place to approve capital expenditure spends
• Review and approve cost loaded schedules
• Run and lead client and other required meetings
• Identify and monitor factors influencing construction costs
• Review, validate, and audit cost estimates prepared by contractors
• Support engineering decisions relating to project cost and budget during design-build changes
• Review requests for payment and approve final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments
• Track equipment to ensure it meets the project schedule
• Record occurrences that might result in a claim on the client's behalf
• Advocate for the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews
• Oversee the transfer of building operations to the client including close out documentation and warranties

Requirements

• University degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Experience as a Construction Project Manager in the real estate sector
• Business level fluency in Italian and English
• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations
• Strong professional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work with a team attitude
