Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, high-value technology projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Provide direct line management to a cohort of Project Managers, including conducting 1-to-1s, setting objectives, and leading performance reviews.
• Act as a mentor and coach to develop the project management capabilities of your team.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for client escalations.
• Enforce rigorous governance, including financial tracking (P&L), RAID management, and change control protocols.
• Perform quality assurance by reviewing project plans and status reports from direct reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex technology projects within an Enterprise Service or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
• Demonstrable experience in direct line management, including staff development and performance management.
• Solid understanding of IT Infrastructure, including Networking, Hosting, Cyber Security, and EUC Technologies.
• Mandatory certification in PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or an equivalent methodology.
• Ability to manage multi-million-pound projects in a fast-paced consultancy or service provider setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) certification.
• Advanced Agile or Scrum certifications.
• A relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
