Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex construction and engineering projects from planning through commissioning and closeout
• Review technical submissions from A&E firms, including MEP and structural drawings
• Manage construction communications such as RFIs, submittals, and technical clarifications
• Act as the owner’s representative on capital projects to ensure alignment with client goals
• Utilize Microsoft Project to develop and track project schedules
• Supervise contractors including general contractors, mechanical, electrical, and specialty trades
• Oversee project execution in operating facilities to ensure minimal disruption
• Support commissioning and handover of building systems like HVAC, emergency power, and lab gases
• Develop executive presentations and strategic communications for leadership decision-making

Requirements

• 8–14 years of experience as a project engineer or project manager
• Experience in petrochemical, chemical, refining, or related industrial sectors
• Proven track record managing major capital projects from design through handover
• Experience executing projects within active operating facilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and construction management software (ProCore, E-Builder, or Prolog)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
