Senior Project Manager Real Estate & Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects from initialization through to handover.
• Act as the client representative (Bauherrenvertretung) towards architects, planners, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects meet strict requirements for timelines, costs, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Translate requirements from production, logistics, HSE, and finance into clear project goals and work packages.
• Manage project documentation, including plans, acceptance protocols, and operator information.
• Coordinate the structured handover of completed projects to Real Estate and Facility Management teams.
• Monitor external partner performance and review technical offers and variations.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Facility Management, or a comparable technical field.
• Multi-year experience in construction project management, acting as a client representative, or technical project leadership.
• Proven track record in managing construction, renovation, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building technology, cost control, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in MS Office and standard project management tools.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an industrial or technically demanding environment.
• Knowledge of occupational safety, fire protection, and building technology.
• Experience with CAFM, SharePoint, or document management systems.
• Familiarity with CAPEX/OPEX planning and investment projects.
• Experience collaborating with Integrated Facility Management (IFM) service providers.
