Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary company representative with clients and subcontractors during project execution
• Lead external and internal meetings and discussions to ensure project alignment
• Develop, negotiate, and monitor project scope, schedules, and budgets for DOT projects
• Mobilize company resources and coordinate with support departments to build effective project teams
• Oversee and review technical project deliverables to ensure compliance with all applicable standards
• Establish and manage Project Execution Plans, PMIS, Health and Safety Plans, and QA/QC plans
• Manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and assign tasks based on project requirements
• Mentor junior staff to foster a high-performance culture
• Monitor and report project progress, milestones, and potential cost or schedule impacts to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field
• 15+ years of engineering management experience within the transportation industry
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards
• Proven ability to manage projects and interface effectively with clients
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to meet Parsons' project management certification requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT)
• Extensive experience working within the Georgia transportation market
