Senior Project Manager, Operational Readiness

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of cross-functional activities for operational readiness workstreams.
• Develop and integrate readiness plans across Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Development, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance.
• Integrate workstream plans into a consolidated master schedule to manage the overall critical path.
• Ensure alignment between operational readiness schedules and construction/commissioning/qualification (C&Q) workstreams.
• Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks and issues to maintain project milestones.
• Establish governance structures and lead cross-functional workshops to drive alignment and resolve challenges.
• Own the project communication strategy, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Manage project resources, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 12 years of Project Management experience OR
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of Project Management experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Project Management experience OR
• Master’s degree and 4 years of Project Management experience OR
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Project Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically within biotechnology drug substance manufacturing.
• PMP certification.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale projects within a matrixed organization.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience translating strategic objectives into clear, executable plans.
