About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale industrial CAPEX projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
- Establish and govern project execution strategies, including contracting, risk governance, and change control.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, finance, and external partners.
- Manage high-level stakeholder relationships with project owners, contractors, and technology licensors.
- Oversee project controls, including cost, schedule, risk, and reporting, in alignment with corporate governance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, or a related technical field).
- 10–15+ years of experience managing industrial CAPEX projects, specifically with projects exceeding 50 MUSD.
- Proven track record in refining, petrochemical, logistics, or energy environments.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, contracting models, cost control, and risk management.
- Experience in project delivery during turnaround or shutdown periods.
- Advanced proficiency in both English and Hungarian.
- Strong MS Project and MS Office skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to logistics sites across the country.
